Beeswax Lip Butter
Our lip balms are a buttery pleasing to the scenses treat for your lips!
Our beeswax is locally harvested in rural south Louisiana by our friend and neighbor and chances are these bees propogated from some of the same botanicals that we have growing in our garden.
Flavored with natural essential oils (no atrificial flavor or sweetener), and blended with locally harvested wild (organic) beeswax, shea and cocoa butter, organic virgin coconut oil, sweet almond oil, safflower oil and vitamin E for buttery long lasting delightful pucker-up protection.
* Shea Butter/ Oil: it is know to protect the skin against weather, sun, elasticity and aging. It is a well-known anti-inflammatory to assist cutaneous dryness, dermatitis and dermatoses, eczema, solar erythema and burns. It is a well known in helping moisturize while providing a silky protective barrier to all skin types.
* Cocoa butter: derived from the Cocoa Bean, which is also where chocolate comes from. Cocoa butter is one of the most stable fats and also contains natural antioxidants. Cocoa butter has been used as a skin care product for centuries in Africa. It is well known for healing sun burnt skin and softening the appearance of stretch marks and wrinkles. This butter also has a high reputation for providing a barrier on the skin, which helps retain moisture and to help restore hydration to the skin.
* Beeswax: obtained by honey bees from the nectar in flowers. Beeswax lends emollients and softening properties in cosmetics. Beeswax also helps retain skins natural moisture.
* Organic Virgin Coconut oil: has been found to be the best source of monolaurin, a well known antiseptic substance found in breast milk, natural antifungal, moisturizer & protectant
* Vitamin E: anti-oxidant, protectant
